Please read the message below and direct any questions you may have to the Health Department at 301-600-1029.

Message:

Barry Glotfelty, FCHD Director of Environment Health, wanted to inform the Frederick business community about a program that is being initiated through the FCHD. Please read the information below and let us know if you have any questions. Feel free to circulate.

Frederick County has contracted with a company to help our business community become better acquainted with COVID-19 related guidance. Businesses that hold a retail food license are accustomed to various inspections by the health department, but many other businesses may not recognize the team who may be visiting for this new purpose. Decreasing the spread of COVID-19 is the ultimate goal. The team assembled is there to help businesses in Frederick navigate the regulations to achieve this.

This team will help:
- Resolve any complaints you may have had related to COVID-19 regulations
- Navigate businesses through the many regulations during this pandemic
- Dispel any unfounded rumor or concerns

These folks will be easy to identify. They will have ID badges from the Frederick County Health Department. Don't be alarmed. Ultimately, they are there to help.

Thank you for your cooperation. Together, we'll get through this!
