  • Talent Recruitment / Hiring Assistance

    Reach a wider range of candidates by taking advantage of FCWS’ free promotion through the Maryland Workforce Exchange employment portal, various social media accounts, video marketing, and career fair opportunities.

  • Employee Training Programs

    Frederick County Workforce Services offers a number of grant-funded programs designed to develop a highly-skilled workforce.

    Some opportunities include:

  • Work and Learn Internship Program: Designed to support recovery after the economic impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic, this program provides wage reimbursement to Frederick County businesses that host paid work experiences in occupations that are in critical demand.

  • Frederick County Drives: This program provides a training subsidy for businesses that offer advancement opportunities for existing employees with industry-recognized skills.

  • Frederick Business Works: Through the FBW program, you can support the cost of training and developing your current employees with industry-recognized skills

  • SkillUp Frederick County: Your employees can access over 3,500 online training programs, including courses on business etiquette, digital literacy, Microsoft Office applications, project management, sales, and more.

  • Business Education Series: Through monthly virtual workshops your employees will learn how to adapt to new labor market dynamics by building strategic plans and developing effective practices during the pandemic and beyond.
