Frederick County’s Office of Economic Development invites you to join its monthly networking events geared towards helping minorities start and grow a business. Adapting to current in-person restrictions, the series has temporarily shifted to an online platform, but is still regularly meeting every third Thursday of the month.
These free events — recently rebranded as the “EmpowerOne2 series” include experts on topics such as marketing, finances, procurement, real estate, exit strategy and more; as well as the opportunity to meet fellow entrepreneurs.
"They say that if you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go as a team. Connecting with fellow local entrepreneurs at the monthly networking meetings provided me the opportunity to team with like-minded, driven business leaders in my community. The information provided at this event helped broaden my vision and become cognizant of the resources available in our community".
— Xavier Bruce, Uplift Coaching and regular attendee of Frederick County’s free minority networking events
