Online Submissions Now Accepted in the City’s Planning, Engineering, and Building Departments

A new online submittal portal is now available for documents and payment.

Beginning today, The City of Frederick is pleased to debut an online submittal portal for applications, plans, and fee payments for work with the Planning, Engineering, and Building Departments.

Through this service, the public can submit for the intake of building permit applications, site and subdivision plans, Historic Preservation Commission applications, Zoning Board of Appeals, Archeology, public improvement/grading plans, and many other applications.

Aimed to protect the health and safety of employees and our community, this new process allows for business to continue in the City during our current State of Emergency. The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding during this time of transition.

Since declaring a State of Emergency on March 13, 2020, Mayor Michael O’Connor and The City of Frederick have been committed to maintaining operations that are critical to the life, health, and safety of our residents. The City has also focused on the delivery of all additional City services through alternative means to keep City employees and the public safe.

Thank you for your patience as the City works through this transitional time.
