Public Invited to Participate in City Comprehensive Plan

Several 2020 Comprehensive Plan community outreach events are scheduled to make it easy to find out more about the plan and ways to be involved in the City’s future.

The 2020 Comprehensive Plan will guide how Frederick develops, what things will be built and where. Planners update the comprehensive plan every 10 years.

The plan guides decisions on:

  • land uses

  • zoning

  • transportation

  • schools

  • parks

  • libraries

  • housing

  • historic preservation

  • pedestrian and trail systems

  • environmental issues

How can you participate in the process?
